At the recent Oceania Judo Champs in Canberra, Al Rivett and Qona Christie from the Academy represented New Zealand.
Al had several hard fights both in the weight class and team events.
Qona won golds in both her weight class and in 2 teams events, bringing the medal haul to 3 golds.
Well done to both of them on the commitment they showed over the years to get them to this level.
