Judoka from the Academy, Masterton JJA and Kapiti JC converged on April Fools Day at the City Dojo for two sessions run by long time friends of the Academy, Graeme Spinks of Christchurch Judo School and Mike Bond, of Renshuden.
At both sessions, the two Sensei tag teamed in and out, each teaching the techniques and other skills that they specialize in.
The variety of judo skills taught gave plenty for those in attendance to take away.
